The type of clothing worn by individuals in society, their social functions, and the value and culture of its use and reflection in texts represent a part of the culture of society. Among the types of clothing in Islamic-Iranian culture are the garments worn by ascetic and pious people, and among them is the Abaya, which was the garment worn by the Prophet (PBUH),. The authors have sought to explain the religious and social status and role of the Abaa in Islamic culture, its literary manifestations, and its contrast with the Quba garment, by citing the hadiths of religious leaders and the sayings of the greats of the path. For this purpose, by extracting narrative and historical evidence and literary references from authentic texts and considering the logical course of the research data, it was examined, analyzed and concluded in a descriptive-analytical manner.
