Objective: The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between organizational values and charismatic leadership with responsibility and job satisfaction among secondary school teachers (upper secondary) in Darab city.
Method: This research employed a descriptive-correlational design. The statistical population comprised all secondary school teachers (upper secondary) in Darab city during the academic year 2023–2024, totaling 387 individuals. A sample of 181 teachers was selected using cluster random sampling. Data were collected using four standardized questionnaires: Job Satisfaction (Kendall & Hulin, 1969), Responsibility (Gilbreath, 2010), Charismatic Leadership (Olive & Bass, 2002), and Organizational Values (Cameron & Quinn, 1999). The face and content validity of the instruments were confirmed by five experts, and their reliability was calculated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, yielding values of 0.85, 0.83, 0.81, and 0.78, respectively. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis).
Results: The results indicated a significant positive relationship between charismatic leadership and teachers' responsibility (p < 0.01, r = 0.485). Furthermore, a significant positive relationship was found between charismatic leadership and teachers' job satisfaction (p < 0.01, r = 0.527).
Conclusions: The findings suggest that organizational values and charismatic leadership have a positive, direct, and significant relationship with teachers' responsibility and job satisfaction. These variables are effective in predicting responsibility and job satisfaction.
