Aims and Scope

Aims:
Modern Research in Islamic Humanities Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing scholarly inquiry at the intersection of Islamic thought and the humanities. The journal provides a rigorous international platform for the dissemination of high-quality, original research that engages with and contributes to contemporary academic discourses. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity, methodological rigor, and ethical publishing.

Our primary aim is to foster interdisciplinary dialogue, encouraging contributions that explore the rich intellectual heritage of Islamic civilization and its dynamic interactions with modern humanities disciplines. The journal welcomes diverse methodological approaches, including theoretical, empirical, historical, and critical perspectives.

Scope:
The journal covers a broad spectrum of fields within the humanities, critically examined through the lens of Islamic perspectives, sources, and intellectual history. Key areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Islamic Philosophy and Theology: Contemporary interpretations, comparative philosophy, and critical studies of classical and modern Islamic philosophical texts.
