Abstract
Persian-speaking poets have long been familiar with the elements and manifestations of nature. Their approach to nature varies greatly depending on the prevailing atmosphere in society, their individual-personality attitudes and perspectives, and their poetic mentality and experiences. A group of them have a passive and descriptive approach to nature, while another group uses nature as a tool and subject matter for expressing their political, philosophical, and humanistic thoughts. M. Sereshk is also among the poets who have used nature as a factor for expressing their social thoughts. Because, as a large part of his works testify, he has a restless spirit and a conscious soul that seeks perfection. In pursuit of his humanistic mission, he resorts to every phenomenon in the face of a society that is struggling in the mire of poverty, ignorance, corruption, and injustice, to praise life and living with indirect and symbolic expression, and to fight against death and the tolerance of tyranny. Therefore, the flow and manifestation of nature - which is a sign of life, growth, and transformation - in the horizons of Shafi'i's poetry is very thought-provoking in terms of its roots in the depths of social and cultural desires and needs.
