The purpose of this study is to examine the educational duties of parents during the "childhood" period, with an emphasis on verses and narrations. If parents understand their duties based on Islamic principles, they will be more diligent in raising their children for their growth and perfection. The research method is descriptive-survey, using reliable library resources and based on the method of content analysis. Islamic education and upbringing during the childhood period has completely different educational characteristics. For this reason, discussing the appropriate stages and methods of education and upbringing in this period is of particular importance. The needs of the child during the "childhood" period and the duties of parents during this period include three parts: before pregnancy, pregnancy and the beginning of birth, with the latter part being the most important period. The moral education of children during the "childhood" period (the first seven years) is very sensitive and effective compared to later periods due to the differences in the characteristics and needs of children. In Islamic sources, the style of moral education of children during this period is considered important and has a gradual and longitudinal process.
