Muhaddith al-Jazairi (1050 AH - 1112 AH), a prominent Shiite scholar and special student of Allama Majlisi, has written many works. He has spent most of his academic life learning and writing in the field of hadith discussions and has coherent principles and ideas of hadith jurisprudence and juristic thought. Based on his juristic principles, he has validated all the chains of transmission of the two books Tahdhib al-Ahkam and Istbissar by Sheikh Tusi based on the term of diversification of hadith of the later generations, in addition to the comprehensive commentaries he wrote on those two books under the titles of "Ghayyah al-Maram", "Maqsud al-An'am" and "Kashf al-Asrar". The present study has analyzed and explained his most important principles and presented the objections and shortcomings of his work. Not being satisfied with specific verifications and believing in some general verifications, as well as enjoying the reputation of narration, practical reputation and acceptability as evidence for confidence in the issuance of hadiths, are among his juristic principles and ideas. Despite his efforts to verify the authenticity of hadiths, his work is not without mistakes and shortcomings.
