Various factors are involved in the emergence of social harms, but among the various factors, it can be said that the role of immigration in the expansion and creation of social gaps and harms seems to be more prominent. There is a close relationship between immigration and marginalization, immigrants migrate from villages to cities and settle in marginal areas. Low income, unconventional jobs, unfamiliarity with the environment, and unfavorable economic conditions in all dimensions attract rural immigrants to marginal areas and around large cities. Immigration from less developed countries to developed countries is also sometimes faced with such a situation. Even in the case of legal immigration, discrimination between the immigrant and his native colleague in terms of income and use of facilities and ancillary services of citizens is still significant. The following article intends to examine the reasons for immigration and examine its effect on the increase in crime in the host country, and among these, the United States, as one of the main destinations of immigrants, is considered a very suitable example for this study.
