Open Access

The promotion of widespread global access to research within the field of Islamic humanities is prioritized through a comprehensive Open Access (OA) model. It is ensured by NRIHS that all published articles are made freely accessible to all users globally immediately upon publication. By implementing this policy, the discoverability, readership, and citation potential of the research are maximized, thereby contributing to the broader scholarly ecosystem and the advancement of Islamic thought.

To support the sustainability of high-quality publishing and the broad dissemination of content, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 15,000,000 Iranian Rials is applied to manuscripts that have successfully passed the peer-review process and reached final acceptance. All published articles are issued under a Creative Commons CC BY-NC 4.0. license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/deed.en). Under this framework, the copying, distribution, and adaptation of the material in any medium or format are permitted, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author and the journal. This license is utilized to ensure the highest degree of engagement and reuse within the international academic community.

In accordance with ethical obligations and the chosen licensing model, unrestricted copyrights and publishing rights are retained by the authors. Control over the scholarly output is maintained by the researchers, while adherence to the journal’s licensing terms for publication is required. This balance ensures that the rights of the authors are protected while the principles of open science are fully upheld.

APC Waiver Policy

While contributors are generally expected to cover the Article Processing Charges (APC) for NRIHS through their personal research grants or institutional open-access funds, the journal remains committed to inclusivity. We understand that some scholars may lack access to such financial support. To ensure that high-quality research from these authors can still be featured in our journal, we provide the opportunity to apply for a full or partial APC waiver upon request.
