Abstract
The desire for peace and achieving psychological well-being can be a function of the economic status of individuals in society. In a way, individuals seek information related to bankruptcy in order to cover the risk arising from the lack of transparency of information. The aim of this study is to investigate the role of the liquidation institution in ensuring the psychological security of the community. The data required for this study was collected and analyzed using a questionnaire completed by 384 individuals at the community level. The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the efficiency of the bankruptcy liquidation institution and the psychological security of the community because various individuals in the community are related to the bankrupt person, and the management and decision-making regarding these individuals, including the creditors of the bankrupt person, the debtors of the bankrupt person, and the employees of the bankrupt person's business enterprise, is with the bankrupt liquidation institution. Given the relationship between the efficiency of the liquidation institution and the psychological security of the community, individuals may achieve a high level of mental peace by observing compliance with the laws related to the areas of liquidation.
